Starting to dislike this beast. The Taigen control is either “won’t turn, or is flat out spin turn”, hard to hold back going down hill, stupid gun elevation, and worst of all, it detracks with the regularity of the Challenger, drive sprockets and idlers come adrift as well. Oh well. Definitely thinking about putting a Heng Long TK7.1 in it.

Looks great!
Personally not keen on the red/white numbers - stands out quite a lot
Great project though, well done.

Looks tremendous! Now some fine tuning to get it to run as good as it looks.

Yeah Taigen/Torro controls are lacking to say the least. I say go for it so you can blaze a trail for me when I eventually want to do mine.

The twitchy controls I can deal with but the stupid gun cycling for elevation/depression is more than just stupid it's utter

Yes, Meter rat, the Taigen/Torro controls suffer the inadequacies you indicate. I wish Torro would get on the ball about these deficiencies. I stick with Taigen V3 controls in Torro or Taigen tanks because of the sound options. Perhaps Taigen and HengLong could amicably merge or steal one-another's strengths. Oh, was I asleep? …dreaming?

I agree. I will tone it down. This a “what if” scenario. All I know from what I have read they got as far as painting the unit numbers on the tank, before it was removed by the high heidyins to England. So if it had been allowed to be used, who knows what it might have looked like?

Did you avoid the "

land mines" this time?

Yes, and the rain.

I looked up "hiedian," but could find no definition. Is this a typographical error of the sort I make all the time? ...a Scots word? ...a word affected by Scotch?

The English translation of "high heid yin" is
1. manager
2. supervisor
