You are correct, Kaczor: I start in on the commander and loader tomorrow, Tuesday 28 May. Oh, Kaczor, there is so much more I "coulda" "shoulda" done with this build, but I am learning. It has been fun.

You are kind and supportive, gentlemen. When I see the other Winter/D-Day builds, I am awed. Right now I am working on a fairlead for my static FAMO, a rather simple bit of scratch-building in brass that many here could accomplish better in 1/4 the time. The next step is to coat the outside with JB Weld to hide the all-too-many holes I drilled. The whole thing is an 11 mm cube overall, so I can barely see it.

That's a neat bit of brassaucity! I could've done that in 4x the time it took you, and it would've been kinda crooked. Yeah, I'm that good...

"Kinda crooked" it is, but I used a clever camera angle, the same one I will use when I mount it on the rear frame rail.
