More little things.
With hatches being open as an option not offered by the Profeline conversion as they were supposed to be modeled closed ,means theres no internal fittings for them.
Loaders hatch is easy, just chuck together a handle.

A bit of brass sprue and a spare PzIII vent mesh rivet & done.
The commanders one though needed the other half of a periscope and a head cushion.
The mounting ring for the periscope was made from a T72 hubcap with its guts cut out, a bit of styrene inserted into the hole and a steel washer under that to add strength & something to hold it onto the hatch with.
I made the periscope itself out of a bit of leftover styrene sanded & trimmed to size.
Bunged some TS-3 dark yellow spray bomb over it as a primer, then brush matched the basecoat shade over it.
The Bakelite(yes that stuff again) was painted with XF-9 hull red which will be darkened a wee bit with black or dark iron dry brushed on.
The head cushion and its odd shape was a bit of plastic sliced off a drawer divider that you use to pout in a kitchen drawer to keep your cutlery separated, dressed up with XF-79 Linoleum Deck Brown that I might dry brush or chip with flat black.
Still to blend that lot together with wear & tear, and usual handling degradation.
Each periscope lense was done with a base of XF-16 Flat Aluminium (thats Alooominum to you left hand drivers!) with a wash of X-23 Clear Blue over that.
Near enough for this awful child
