So quick update, I managed to fit the scratch built exhaust shrouds. Secured with mini bolts for scale effect. Next step is painting the exterior to match up with current paint work. Adding small little bits here and there such as the aerial and some other bits, then its matt coat time, followed by some light pigment weathering and the beast shall be done. Photos to follow when I get home.

Those shrouds look great! They’ll look even better when they’re painted. Very impressive modeling and the Tiger 1 is my favorite tank of all. Thanks for posting your build.

Superb detailing and finish - you can feel proud! I'm a little concerned by that oil leakage on the road in that last photo ;)

Aye the dreaded oil leak. Thanks for the kind comments chaps. Today I have been working on the rear and the exhaust shrouds. I managed to get them all painted up. Next step is a gloss wash. Pin wash, then matt varnish. But either way they are looking good to start with. I also managed to Matt varnish the turret and the main body. These I'm now calling done. Unless I feel like adding some pigment powders. All that is left to add is the aerial and other tow cable. If I feel like adding it. I rather like the one tow cable look. All markins are sprayed using Rads masks. Love em.

Thanks for looking in. ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Next step today is to finish off the rear panel i.e get the exhaust shrouds done, I figure I should be able to get them to the stage where they need a matt varnish coat. Photos of progress to follow. Keep tuned.

A really nice job of work, As you are now starting to detail your build might I make a suggestion ? If you go to
www.afvmodeller.com/product-category/accessories/
they have a lot of Panzer 4 internal and external fixtures and fittings and some of these are good for a Tiger 1 such as the MG34/42 Ammo belt that with the tips painted in bronze acrylic and slid into the breech absolutely adds to the Tank and a Gurt Sac/Ammo Pouch holding the balance of the ammo belt makes it look even better
