Thanks so much. You surprised me with this one and it gave me some excellent ideas for the Blue Star hetzer. It actually is a very good runner.Markocaster wrote:Looks so good painted ! Carl you have done a super job !

Re: 1:16 Blue Star Models/ An-Bri Hetzer Build
It's been a while since I've had some time to think about my tanks and after the panther has neared completion I have been recently inspired by the 3D printed hetzer that is currently under construction by 50kruny. His build is absolutely amazing a masterpiece of engineering and design.
The An-Bri hetzer is completed and it is now time to focus on the original part for this thread, the Blue Star Hetzer.
Although I'm not sure how I'm going to proceed, I have some ideas and will being gathering the needed parts in the coming weeks.

Here it is as it sits currently in the shop. I've added many bits of the photo etched parts, fenders, schurzen and have gone as far as I feel comfortable until I start to design the lower hull drivetrain and electronics.
Since the kit is resin I will start by reinforcing the hull with metal.
I may go with Ludwig's hetzer parts and transmissions to complete it.

I have found this thead, finally.
Blue Star seems to be very accurate early Hetzer.Your build looks very good with this photo etched parts.
