Good afternoon, my Friend!
I have a Tank crewman on the way per Sass' but I will definitely keep this site in my Top Ten modelers sites along with OzArmour. Thank you again for the heads up.

Painless

So tonight saw a couple of fun hours work done on detailing the turret. I added the early anti-aircraft mount and gurt sack to the cupola and put together a version of the periscopes for the turret doors. Most of the time was taken up in cleaning up the metal parts, seam lines, etc...More work to follow.

*looks around for Louis or Barry?* Oh Me!, You mean me, well, Thank you! *chuckles* Seriously tho, Good Morning!
Thanks for looking in again. Using HL components like the Mantlet and lower Hull, I'd already shot myself in the foot as far as total accuracy goes. It was important to get the general look right however. I really wanted the short 75mm and I wanted it to have flash and recoil. Something you don't see a lot of in the short barrel main guns so HL it was. A lot of different components were swapped onto and around by the crews of these vehicles to keep them in action. Stocks of replacement parts were vanishingly small off the continent. If people look at this Build and recognize it as a DAK Panzer IV 'F', then I'll have hit the target that I am aiming at. ;o)

Painless

Wow Painless you're working fast! Now I feel bad for not installing my recoil yet! :haha: I do like short 75, especially when all the big cats have long guns. Can't wait to see it finished!

PershingLover!
Thanks for checking out the Build. It's always a 'Hurry Up and Wait' for parts for these tanks, especially nowadays with the current state of the world. Tonight, I had a couple of hours and had some fun detailing out the fenders ( mainly the front ones since a little scribing cleaned up the rears ) by adding springs and rests per the Panzer in Munster. Thanks again for that Walk Around, Roy! It really came in handy. I ended up the night by adding some brass nuts to fix some rounded off ones on the Mantlet. Onward to more as bits come in.

You and me both, Doc. There are days when a shot is just called for. I'm following along on your continued work on the Tiger. It is always a treat for the eyes. Stay safe out there.
