Sure are mate. I'm getting along with the list on the PzIV that I really should call my first ever commission job !
Although I had trouble with my build, I can use the lessons learned to get the tasks I need to do on the second go a lot easier than the first, and hopefully to a higher finish.
Setting back the mantlet is a bigger job than I thought it would be.
I didn't do it on mine, but I did narrow the whole lot & make it acceptable, but the next reach to get the mantlet real thin against the turret face is proving a bigger mission.

He gave me a nice metal turret stowage bin with a hinging lid, shame it's also too high plus there is no way to mount the standard HL elevation unit.
I did make use of the lid assembly onto the lowered plastic bin, so that's something,
Not much use though as you all know, as the bin contains the elevation unit, but to have it opening even a little allows some freedom of expression !!

What I need right now is a new computer, but that will have to wait.
Cost involved in sorting mine with its Vista system is not high on my agenda for now.
It will come, just got to wait

Ha! Yeah it's pretty wild here. The pool has more branches & leaves in it than water, and what's left of that salt which is required to stop it going green has been diluted to death.
The low salt warning light is glowing on the pump control.
I just hope the fluid dump gets distributed out to the Mars landscape out west Queensland.
Things are so dry out there that the roads are chocka with dead and decaying kangaroos that go to the roadside to eat what little green grass there is from the tiny run off from the bitumen.

It turns out my modem is stuffed. That's why I have no computer or wifi .
Just figured out how to use the phone camera to resume things in here.

After a significant gap in progress updates, this what my PZ IV looks like now

Loving it! It's come a long way lately, Herman.

The worn paint on the grab rails and cupola rim are a really nice touch.

Thanks Mr Ram it sure has.
I figured the machine was pretty new to the field, had plenty of training time done in it before hand, and had the cam pattern put on in the units support works at some stage.
I have emailed Peddinghaus to see if it's worth getting them to make a set of B11 decals.
No reply as yet, but if that is not an option, I will hand paint or jury-stencil them as it really does need a turret number in keeping with the theme picture.

Yeah it's a shame that my modems toast and I couldn't figure this phone thing out along the way.

Apart from a light dusting and the turret numbers from Peddinghaus(I hope)it's done.
