If you're not in a rush like I was when I found them...you might contact Forgebear...think he mentioned to me he might get some in ...I also think the shipping from him would be much better than ordering from the contact I used.... ;)

PS, Sorry Uncarina for Off Topicing your thread :{
So I will take that as a no then. Doesn't look as though it would matter if I was in a rush. Thanks for nothing ALPHA, very unhelpful and not really in the spirit of this forum in my opinion. :thumbdown: :yawn:

The type 10 is being picked up on Wednesday, but I think now I will just PM a select few with any details about it or where I buy bits for it from as that seems to be the accepted form here now.

Sorry Uncarina for letting this stray into your thread.

Paul
PM sent ;)

Here is a belated update--I've been busy scratchbuilding and painting:

--added the spare wheels and sprocket after drilling out the bolt holes, and added appropriate weathering;
--scratchbuilt the extra jerrycan holder, and installed the water containers in each via Shapeways. These cans had a slightly pinkish hue, so I added some red to the CARC color;
--scratchbuilt the folding cots using sprue (and The Chopper, a valuable addition to my tool set), and lead foil to represent the canvas;
--added the battery cables to the starboard smoke grenade mount (it has a hull, so I am using nautical terms);
--scratchbuilt the tent using Apoxie sculpt and Tamiya tape for the straps;
--upgraded the optics via iridescent film with a red hue.

Next: the ammo boxes, then I hope to move on to the hull!

Cheers, Tom

ALPHA,

Thank you for your generous feedback throughout the build, and for that reference photo; I've used it quite a bit, since I only have four to go by!
