*chuckles* Great recipe for cheap pizza. I will definitely try it one day with some crusty French bread maybe. Kiaser got me thinking so I just ordered a few Pies for dinner for the house. Jack, Alpha is exactly right. I've seen your work so don't put yourself down. When the day comes that you find something different that you want that will require a Frankenpanzer build, I know that you'll do excellent work on it. Here are a couple of shots for tonight. I didn't get anything done today as it was Lawn and House chore day but I'll have plenty of time this weekend to start working on installing more detail on the Deck.

Thank you, my friend. ;o) I've got that Book set from Sassgrunt to research from for this assault gun and I've seen that as the Wehrmacht got further into Russia, they started carrying a lot of extra stuff on the back, building rough, field enclosures to keep supplies and fuel in place. This StuG is an early 1941 build in that it has the new sprocket and idler and wider tracks ( 40mm ) and enclosed smoke grenade box but some other older features remained. So no spare wheels or track or heavy stowage yet until Autumn when Operation Barbarossa was well underway. Looking forward to more work on your builds to admire as well. That Panther is almost done then you mentioned that you have a StuG of your own to start up. I am anticipating following that.

It's a keeper Painless...that recipe has been with me since I was a sprout...back then there wasn't all that many varieties of cheese available ...but dang was it a great snack for those days when the grumbling sounds emerged ... it's at it's simplest form there in that post...elaboration is welcome...I have...But that info is classified ...need to know only

Speaking of Sass's Book...that's a good one...when I had it ...I failed to see the indentations of the rear fenders to accommodate the tail light assys...interesting ...I will have to copy that lol

Yes, Sass' Books have saved me a ton of time and allowed me to add detail I would have missed otherwise without extensive page flipping on a number of other websites. Those indents go all the way through the rear fenders so that if the upper fender is flipped up, the light shows through it. ;o) There is an under fender section bolted on that braces the upper fender when it is down. Looking forward to pics of yours and Herman's StuG builds.

Found those ports interesting...were they on all the variants or just that early version?
Feel kind of bad about the pictures...haven't handled my camera in months...not to mention many of my early photos are gone ...as I think photobucket closed that account because of the pixel size of those photos...they were kind of large in matter ...didn't know how to adjust the sizes back then...no real problem for me...as photobucket wasn't all that great
With that said...hopefully photos will be present soon

Today was a Deck day. I was able to use a new tool I had found some time ago and only recently purchased as they were on sale. The 'Stix' were very useful in assembling the tiny scratch built Fender stays. A little touch up painting was performed then since the previous spray job had thoroughly cured. I usually just spray a little of the matching color in a disposable plastic container and brush up any thing needed. After the Fender stays were assembled and mounted, I worked on getting the Convoy lights wired and mounted front and rear. All in all a good afternoon's worth of fun. Pics:
