I had fitted some blocks to the front of the wooden floor to stop roll forward. Fits in better if you reverse in. Yes boot closes. Just. OK for a short trip.

Thanks Cliff,

The King Tiger beside my Tiger is a hybrid which might interest you. The lower hull ,wheels and track are Mark 1 while the upper hull and turret is Armortek. I renovated it recently. Finished just on time for the show.

You soon put her together, unusual hybrid , have you strengthened the hull ?

No hull supports but no sign of sagging. The idler adjusters were replaced with somthing a bit sturdier. I am not sure if the motors are mark I or somthing else. I thought the Mark I was chain drive. It climbs well.

All good then John, the early motors wer'nt chain drive , but I think the hulls were thicker mate 8)
