I swear that if you make a king pin that snaps into that turntable & then releases, I will :poop: my pants & run off screaming :wtf:

That’s just astounding
I reckon that if Mr Sassgrunt has the same DNA then we are all missing out on his capabilities & modeling achievements due to that aversion to pictures and accolades!!

I visited him on Oahu a few years ago and saw his work first hand. Believe me, we are missing out on terrific work and engineering. But like Jarndice I think humility prevents them from wanting to "show off" their works. I know for sure Mike has learned how to use the microwave, telephone and house keys (they are still working with him on the TV remote and the refrigerator door).

The quality of work on this, is outstanding. I have resorted to sitting in a darkened corner, and considering my fumbling efforts.

Mr ECAM will probably have a working person to lower the trailer jacks, and operate the fifth wheel release.

I hope you have quick access to the washing machine, Bix. :O Ian, don't give him ideas. You know he'll do something on that order.

Get some fresh shorts, the 5th wheel is functional. And I made a couple kingpins. Haven't measured the Tamiya version so not sure if it is compatible.

Last of the metal work (I think). The I beam hoist was used to change tires, according to the Tankograd book a wheel and tire assembly weighed about 900 lbs (410 kg). There were pockets on the trailer for the crane as well.
