FrSky X8R 8/16 channel reciever (16 using S bus), 2 EMAX ES08 II servos for dual rudders, SFR 1-D Beier control board (I like options and good sound), Radiomaster TX 16S transmitter (A must have radio), two MFA 457RE540LN motors (I used dual props instead of paddle wheel), and I forgot what my propeller shafts are but if you’re going the paddle wheel route it doesn’t matter. Remember that the Pook Turtles had horrible maneuverability due to the central paddle wheel, just sayin’. My smoker is a GI smoker, like the one in my Tiger.
I think you’ve just encouraged me to resume my gunboat project. By the way, I live just 40 minutes away from Mound City where 3 of the 7 City Class gunboats were built.
Good luck and keep us posted. PM me anytime.
