But you do have all the parts you need now right?

I hope, I hope, I hope.

Its in
Looks a bit agricultural at the moment, but it works.
No slop, and the adjuster is going to allow all the variation I need to cover for the extra length in the lower hull.
All thats left is to get 2 lock nuts for the top of the adjuster bolts, and set the idlers in place at the correct width.
The standard idler axles are way to long and the smaller diameter that normally would be secured by the infamous E-clips is to small for the new arms.
This can be sorted by replacing them with bolts that have the thread cut off and the arm grub screws clamping onto the remaining shank of the bolts.
No big thing.

Once the back end is done, I can install all the running gear & get er moving.

Herman that's awesome! I'm glad it's coming together.

Were you planning on removing and filling the fenders? If so once you remove the fenders from the upper hull test fit it to the lower, you should see that the area that's directly above the tracks now sticks out further then the uppers sides. Doube check but it should be 2mm you'll have to trim from the lower so you can add plastic card to the upper to continue the correct angle for the upper to full where the fenders were. If you need pics just let me know as I've already done this to mine.

No mate, this one will be "nude" with no mud guard sections at all,
The Matorro hull covers the sponsons really well and nothing looks out of place.
The rear plate will need attention width wise to match up to the hull, but compared to the rest of it, that's nothing !

Ok sounds good. Just watch when you remove the fenders there may be a gap.

Jack, it warms the cockles of my heart to see an American using the metric system. I have no idea what the hell people are talking about when they get into ridiculous fractions or talk about thou' or stuff like that.

Ram, I do so because most of you use the metric system and I try to make myself as easily understood as possible.

But if you like fractions I can post both. ;)
