Quick update, fitted IBU2 in my T34 very pleased with the sounds and functionality of this Unit. I have one for my Sherman which I will fit later.
The volume is supplied by one of Ian’s speakers turned up only about half way and with the hull on it gives it a deeper richer sound.
At the moment I’m using the BB gun so I can’t comment on the IR system but I’m sure Ian can comment on that side of things.
Isn’t it funny when the video camera is on your brain goes to mush!

A few more pictures, rear light installed and I decided to use some of my slot car magnets to keep the engine cover on as the hinges just seemed a pain on the arse really.
Front ends pics, welding marks done with more to add to the lower hull before I paint it. Then comes the fun part painting the lettering on the turret and weathering.

Good Morning,
So that's where the rear light goes on those? I had wondered and thought incorrectly that that little slot was for more engine piping. ;o) It really has come together, Phil! Thank you for the video on how everything fits together and is in place.

Hi Alpha
Thanks for your kind comments, the light is just a red LED with half cut plasticard tude with the back filled in with green putty, some reason the front light stopped working could be they need wiring a different way instead of taking them off the same + and - on the hull socket.

Good Morning,
Phil, the front light and tail light were wired together and the front light stopped working? I'm asking because I was going to light the spot on my Sherman by tying it into the contacts for the headlights. Wasn't that how you lit yours?

That is so cool looking Phil...I didn't even think SOVIET tanks had a rear light... now I can't stop thinking of it lol...it's still a tiny little LED... is it from a machine gun?
You changed boards right? I was going to say take a look at any AMERICAN HENG LONG tank... I'm pretty sure the reverse is wired to the main board
Hey I just came up with something... I'm going to do this with my KV-2 ... the firing light in the turret... I remember you saying you popped it back and left it in the turret...well ... use the power from that... it'll look like the driver is pressing on the brake when firing ...I'm doing mine tonight ... pray for me
HAPPY HOLIDAYS Phil

Sorry being really dim here, the IBU2 has a plug outlet for a back light!
So I’ll reconnect the front light and use the IBU2 for the back.
The LED is just a normal LED

Good Morning,
Thanks for clearing that up, Phil. *bows* Alpha, Your KV-2 should have a taillight in the spot where HL ran the smoke exhaust through. That's a neat idea to have the firing LED be a brake light. Also, I think the new generation of RX-18s have a tail light plug like the IBU-2. ;o)
