Love it.
And after the trepidation of the spare tracks, nailed it
Thank you. Yes the ball is again rolling in the right direction. I'm also glad I went with the spare tracks this way

Panzermechaniker wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 5:17 pm It's really looking good Mr. Chef. I'm partial to the red numbers over the zimmerit myself. Here is the number on my late tiger although these were decals and will require some more weathering when I get the tank back
Thank you. I tried the other combinations of colors and fonts for the numbers and even though these aren't specifically historically accurate, I really like how they look aesthetically and blend into he camo.

Thanks Herr Doc  She's coming together albeit my hiccups and subliminal procrastination.
Still need to decide on the manual hand starter crank handle. Oh and fab up a jack.

I've done similar weathering with J Newboy's Magic Grime. This looks a touch less messy to work in and the results are great. I would guess that you started with multiple dots of various colors and worked them down with white thinner. Great job!

Great weathering !
I love using oils, you can use just about every colors on any base coat, red, yellow, blue, green, pink if you want and you will always good results to get distressed paint ! They are also fantastic to make dirt layers.
