I’ll shift gears to a local appetizer that I’m making for our work Christmas party. A good ol’ mid-American cheese ball. With fresh shredded garlic, crispy bacon chunks, onions, shredded cheddar cheese and Worcestershire sauce blended with chopped and whole pecans from our yard. Must spread on a Ritz cracker for the total effect.

Oh, also be sure to have a couple of jiggers of whiskey. Perfect combo for the holidays.

Great choice! If I didn't know better, that picture sure makes it seem that your whisky comes in a paper carton.

That there, Ian, is a gen-U-I-ne Whisky glass. (Snifter?) Ms. M and I brought some back from Oban. Hmm... it's Christmas Eve, soon time to fight off the chilly night.
I wish you all an URPing good time in the company of fine friends and family.

That’s a lot of the preparation for tomorrow. If any one asks me to bone out, and stuff a pheasant again. I will stuff them. Pigs in blanket’s venison and leek sausage. Oysters with shallots in red wine vinegar for Boxing Day.
