Wow! Your snow came even earlier than here in the northern U.S., although it's promised tonight. I am especially impressed by the photo with the auxiliary fuel tank at the right. The "rust" on the tank is convincingly realistic and the snow makes it all the more so.

So I took it into work, and spoke with my resident friend, to work out how to repair it. My friend may not be able to remember what he had for dinner 10 minutes ago, but given an opportunity, he comes alive when given a task like this. He suggested pulling the parts to get her with some wire. And filling the area with epoxy.

What is the diameter of the axle that the idler rides on? I wonder if a brass rod of the same diameter could be installed across the tank and be drilled and tapped to receive the mounting screws. Alternatively a brass tube filled with solder could make machining easier (obviously making the solder tube version before installing in the plastic hubs).

The Henntec unit for the T72 is actually quite a bit more robust than the normal Henntecs. Here you can see it installed on my Hooben ZTZ-99A:

I am definitely going to have to rethink the repair from earlier. I have an idea, if I can find the required parts.
