Ya hear that chaps ??..............surely one of you members of the 'Mother Country' can help Mr Jhamm out with a suitable sound track ?
Or, put on your best posh accent(for the tank commander) and your best working-class slang(for the gunner) & record that & send it to him :haha:
I could not do it, as it would confuse the hell out of the viewing populace due to my diluted Kiwi/Aussie accent :/

Bit like a bicycle...........never know until you ask to see whats out there ;)

My 1st Armoured Division Cromwell will have a crew speaking with a heavy Polish accent;)

Actually a World of Tanks tank crew will have the required voiceovers suitable for any particular country’s tank crew - you just need to rip it from the game’s files I guess.

"Oh Tommy, would you be a good chap and load an AP."
"Yus sir"
"Now then Smithers, would you mind awfully targeting that damned Tiger"
"Yes sir"
"On target sir"
"Fire"
"Oh gosh Smithers, you are a silly thing"
"Albert, quick sharp, get us out of here before Jerry returns fire"

Hi,
today i took a look at the suspension,
without serious modifications there is not much that can be improved.

The swing arm bearing brings a surprise:
1x sintered metal bearing and 1x ball bearing not sealed:
Schwingarmlager.jpg
I replaced these completely with sealed ball bearings
also on the rollers and idlers:

Now the Cromwell drives very slowly, nice and soft.

Good to see that they can be upgraded, what size bearings are needed and how many total?

The Ball bearings are MR85-2RS
outer diameter 8mm
inner diameter 5mm
2,5mm wide

you need:
2 on every swingarm = 20
2 on every roler = 20
2 on both idlers = 4
in total = 44

A pioneering look at the Hooben Cromwell.
All this 'fact finding' can save a lot of time and money, for those thinking of taking the plunge.
:D The customised sounds are really good, although the American accents do stick out like a sore thumb... unless, that is, you happen to be Canadians on board. :problem: :D
I wonder what the original sound effects were like.
