There are ways of getting water slide decals to sit nicely over a Zimmerit finish using "Microscale" Products but it can be a bit hit and miss,
A more certain way of getting Tank numbers on Zimmerit to look realistic is to use a stencil or a paint mask,
If you go to the header of this page you will find the Forum's Download access.
A set of Turret number stencils for German Armour is available to download to a Dot Matrix Printer OR you could go to our own Forum Member Rad Schuhart's own site and order a Paint Mask for your Turret Numbers,
He is extremely helpful and you wont be disappointed with his products.

EDIT-- If you have a particular Turret number in mind Rad will I feel sure do his best to provide you with those numbers.

I'm familiar with water slide decals and micro sol - set. I'm hesitant to use masks this late in the build. But will give it a thought. This is where we are at so far with the detail painting.

Thanks for the tips chaps, just ordered myself a set of decals. You will have to wait and see what numbers I went for. Detail work continues. Just painting up the small parts and adding the tools. Pictures to follow.

I think the upper hull is close to being done. All small detail painting has been done. Just need to do another gloss coat and get it ready for weathering.

Don’t forget the Aber jack block kit. After all, you’ve already gone through this much effort. Your tank deserves it.

I've actually got the resin east coast armory jack bolt kit. Was going to use that. But after painting it all up. Not terribly happy with it. will weather it and see how it turns out. Thanks for the heads up.

Cheers, Ive been itching to continue this build, but have been held up on getting decals for the beast, well they arrive today. Woop woop. So tonight I shall be decaling and adding the final touches to the turret - Such as painting the periscopes, adding the MG. Stay tuned for pictures. I assume by now, you've all guessed that I shall be doing Wili Feys tiger, yes I know Wilis was a late tiger, but screw it, my model

After a great chad with Rad, I've now got some custom paint masks on the way, the decals just did not quite work to the standard I was after. Currently working on adding a wash and detailing the entire build. pictures to follow.
Thanks for all the kind comments.
