So I'm intimidated by the thought of scratchbuilding some duffel bags with milliput, and here's this guy creating a masterpiece with the stuff.

Hi Wayne, you only need about 10cm but this is what I buy

I use gorilla glue (60ml) as it expands slightly when setting, as the brass tube is a slightly loose fit for the barrel

Making great progress Alwyn, it's a big beautiful beast already. You've captured the shape and bulk of it perfectly, it looks like the real deal. I'm looking forward to seeing it gunned up!
