Did not like the hassle of decals on the Zim, made some stencils. Quite like the emblems like the hammer and lightning , thats something to look for and try to make. Would have been better to try the little one first as its a flat surface.

Not perfect but on the zim a little overlap and its not a flat surface , next time will use better sticky sheet.

Thanks all One question is it worthwhile doing a number on the rear of the turret ?
Panther and tiger1 yes but not found a king tiger rear no photo.

Yes, there were KTs with numbers on the rear turret, very unit specific though.
I will get a photo for you, but I feel your particular one represents a unit that would not have done it.

Numbers look excellent, the painted on look has always seemed better to me than decals IMHO.... I paint them on when I can. Brilliant work

Another little upgrade ,the periscopes . The loaders one needs some work paint the rear of the perspex and fill the gap under the guard. Better have look at some walkarounds or photos. Thats 2 sets of scopes sorted another 3 to do when i am in the mood to do more fixes..

easier seen when light shines thro , loaders scope needs sealed up at the rear
