thats the scrapes and scratches done on the Pz III use a much lighter color than the base color then put a bit of rust black or red oxide primer in the middle of some of the bigger scrapes to give some depth, try to make them as irregular in shape and spacing as possible.

this is what i wanted to do on my tiger but the mistake i made was rushing things a bit so once i get my tiger back i,ll do it again but this time i,ll take my time and get it looking right.....................oz

Oz here's where I,m at from prime to base coat. The turret is my creeping death turret minus the Tamiya barrel, its color is stock H/L. i Think the camo scheme is more difficult with the airbrush,I will practice some more and decide which way to go.A good weathering and and detailing of the tools and other pieces with the grey only(other than the drybrushing)can always be changed before the ronseal yes or no?Please advise OZ,IF POSSIBLE I would prefer to procede that way.SAX

hi sax.
yes things can be changed before the ronseal is applied, what i suggest is go with what you feel comfortable with and don't overstretch yourself once you get more practice with the airbrush and feel more confident then proceed onto more complex schemes, the last thing you want is to strip your model again, believe me it becomes more annoying as time goes by, but at least you now know that the oven cleaner trick works.................cheers oz

Sax, Its looking good, stick at the airbrush practice. I was saying to Oz, using the AB is not as easy as it looks. You only find that out when you start to use one  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(  The masters like Oz and the other Renaissance painters from their club just make it look so !! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8). LOL.

Oz, I'm still in the frame, but one of my ABs has went U.S. on me. Its a one I obtained specially for varnishes/solvents. So I'm looking to get a replacement.

Cheers

Thanks Steiner, still think you should paint my 1/6 scale tiger. One thing about the new Tiger is that it,s late production but it's still painted grey.So on the big boy I will have to go with late model camo very much like your Tiger.I will post more pics soon.Blake

Cheers.

Steiner, their are no pictures of a completely assembled tank. They did throw one together so I could see it but no one is in the picture so it's hard to gauge the size. Here's the one picture of the tank on it's shipping box, although it ships in two seperate boxes and I think they said 55"x42" although I am not sure, one good note is I may be able to have it shipped on the 6th instead of the 20th of July.        Also Oz,the tank I have been painting is a 1/16 scale h/l withalot of mods.Airsoft with recoil, and I/R.All via RX-18 BOARDS X Two.Tonight I am assembling the Asiatam lower hull and the electronics, the Turret is creeping death with a modified gun.I will have to change the upper turret to my newly painted one. Thanks again to both you guy's for all the guidence in painting my Tiger.Blake

Sax, that looks like one mean machine. I cant wait to see that up and running. I am rowing in the same boat as you sax, when it comes to painting. I would be up the creek without a paddle without all the help I have had from the Wizard. (Oz). Oz, if you read this, its much appreciated. ;D ;D ;D

Cheers
