Good afternoon, Gentlemen,
Mr. Wobbly, a compliment received from the Tank of the Month for October builder is High Praise. Thank you, my friend! ;o) Terry, you're just more sane than most of us. *chuckles* Thank you again for selling me your M36B1. I just finished the 'Tank Killers' book this afternoon and got some great ideas for weapons and equipment stowage for it. The M36 and the M10 resin kit will be the new gems in my tank corral when they are complete. No selling off your armor. I enjoy seeing pics of your stuff and hearing about your adventures driving them.
regards,
Painless

I've been a naughty boy - either that or my Tigers are breeding.
Expecting deliveries next week.
My Tiger 222 is a work in progress. It now has authentic Tiger sound which is excellent.
It appears that battalion 101 in Normandy actually had numbers of light blue with a white outline......

Anyway following your masterclass with interest !

Another ( and hopefully the last before detail painting ) quick update on Step 21. Almost forgot about these little guys. There are three on each side. Pics:

Good morning, Herman,
Apologies. These were a detail that added to the tank and looked durable so on they went! I really need to go over that photo set from 131 in Bovington and spend some more time researching Tigers again. I didn't even know that there were such things until ABER called for them.

UhOh!, more annoyance! *chuckles* Anyway, I sat down and painted the work done on Step 21 and it is complete. The day was early so I started on Step 22. I was happy to see that Tamiya gave nothing away to ABER for this step and in the words of a friend, " I was able to use the manufacturer parts as is with no modification needed." I will probably add the lenses in because even the simple all metal periscopes have those cast in, otherwise, Step 22 is ready for detail paint. Pics:

Thank you, Kaiser, it's all due to Tamiya. Relaxed after a quiet Friday by doing a little detail painting on the interior hatches from Step 22. I went with the exterior color and bakelite brown. The periscope lenses are on their way. Pics:

Depending on which version of the Assembly manual I have in hand, I've been working on Steps23, 24, 25 and 26 the last few days. The periscopes I was waiting for arrived in the post yesterday so I spent a chunk of today finishing up Step 23 and 24 ( in the Static Build ) In the RC version, I worked on Step 23 - 26. Pics:
