Repositioned and modified the grenade launchers. This took a surprising amount of work to make them more accurate in shape and detail. Next: detailing the coaxial machine gun and a few more details, then painting the turret. Comments welcome.

Thanks Barry! The Dragon kit is a big help, along with the reference photos. It's not entirely accurate since I wanted to work with the HL parts and keep the attachment to the turret strong, but I think it'll do if you don't look too closely.

Cheers, Tom

Added more details to the turret, including a scratchbuilt 120mm ammo container and the smoke grenades. I've added almost all of the markings for the turret, except for an American flag on the left side of the main gun. Still more to do, including scratchbuilding a jerrycan rack for the left side and the road wheels on the side and top of the turret.

Cheers, Tom

By the way Uncarina...both you and Barry are doing some bang up work on these M1s....You all should definitely get yourself some of these

The detail on them is quite nice...Especially the "Scalloped" sprocket edge...the great thing is they weren't expensive at all...cost a little more than a pair of stock replacement metal sprockets :O

I need to take some photos of them installed...have a new computer so have to see if it will accept my camera lol

YAY!!!!! for the return of the Skull   .......... :haha:

I got my Sprocket set from a company on the Continent....There in the UK...you might want to contact Forgebear....he doesn't have them yet...but when he contacted me via PM when I posted the notices...he said it's something he will look into ;)

To my Knowledge ...no one else has them yet...the company I ordered them from just listed them towards the ending of January...they do ship to the UK..but I would not be certain of the shipping cost :|

I will send the company name via PM ;)

For what its worth fellas, these jokers are my 'locals'
I was in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago but could not uplift any hardware in person. Part of the legalities they have with council to operate out of the premises and run the business from what they tell me.

By all means if you wish for me to make any enquiries on your behalf or be a depot for order accumulation, just yell out.

why not just post the link like others do when you know there are lots of these being built, its far more helpful.

Sorry For jumping in on your thread Tom, but I just hate it when people needlessly keep things to themselves rather than sharing. Not very helpful to the advancement of this hobby all this secret squirrel stuff :/

Apologies Scalawag...Reason I didn't post the link to the company is...I've done it before...not sure why but every time I have...the mods came in and deleted it...so I figure it was Taboo or something...so when that company does have something...I usually contact those who are interested with a pm ;)

Did you get a set? they look fantastic! I'm glad I didn't drill my stock set and waited lol
