Don't forget the almost invisible small raised square on the back under the hinge mount. Looks like some kind of slightly embossed data plate that is painted over.
ALPHA - Like I said you have a hybrid, kind of a v2 hull with a v1 turret, which means the battery box hinges are needed I think.
Yep I glued a small square-ish piece there after uploading the pix.
Progress is slow when I'm nearing completion of a project. That's my disease - sheer laziness hahaha

Super nice job ATC

PS. Any grab handles yet ?
Tnx.

You can still open it normally. The top part isn't glued to the rear panel.

AH....as I look better...I can see your pencil marks

...that's how I would have done it too...but still thought those two parts glued to the upper would be vulnerable to clumsy hands ...my hands lol

I'll take a shot ALPHA is it that the small grill hatches on HL version are sunk into the rear deck rather then being higher with a welded on bar on the sides as in the photo?

Nice try ...but no cigar Giant

...actually those hatches are ok in comparison to the model...the detail that ATC needs to look at is a tad above them

I figured I was wrong after looking at all the rear deck photos I have and seeing that they all have the same grill height and welded on guards regardless of model Abrams looked at.
I must say you have me stumped, even with your clue that it is above the hatches in the picture. Is it something on the turret?

UHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...What's smack dab in the middle of the photo..it's the two items that have the most focus
ATC will never guess lol
