Worse still, we dont have a dolls - house - shop that we can just waltz into & take care of all our wildest hinged desires ;)

It just busts my balls to see dolls house and Tank in the same genre !!! :/
My only solice is that when you guys decide to fold up a front guard on one of your tanks, it will either cause a tune to be played or a bunch of flowers to be revealed :wtf: :wtf:  8O

Now that's the stuff! *chuckles* Around here, according to the Mate, 'un'-hinged is more like it when it comes to me and tanks. ;o)

Nothing in the Post today. My knee is still too sore to resume Gym visits so I took the opportunity this afternoon to continue detailing the deck for priming and Paint. I ended up building the weird Toolbox over Jack Block mount out of brass and am satisfied that it looks no worse than the 1/35 Tamiya version as far as fit and appearance goes. ;o) Pics:

Mornin' Ed,
I agree. I'm at the point where I can prime and paint the deck now. I need to check the putty job on the HL tool mounting holes one more time then I can probably address it over lunch today. The casemate has work to be done with hatches, handles and attachments for the main gun before I can paint it.
regards,
Painless

Hot and sunny outside so I got out at lunch and primered and painted the Deck. ( I also redid the legs on the scratch built tool box mount from last night....yes, it bugged me just enough... ) Pics:

Alpha,
It's good to have you back here and commenting on this build. I know you have two StuGs in the works. Any progress reports on those? I know one of them is a resin/plastic Frankenpanzer like this one. ;o)

Hey there Painless...Long Story short...I think I overwhelmed myself...bought to many tanks for too many projects...it makes it hard to concentrate on one...when I did my T34..Kv2...the two Shermans...modding was easy...as I had each of them come at me one at a time...now I have about eight ...as I am working on one...for some reason I keep thinking of another...then another...it gets pretty congested thought wise ...as I know each idea will take a few hours to sort out...Have to find a way to simplify ...maybe block out ideas for other tanks :haha: :haha:
Hoping visiting the board helps sort thoughts out ;)

Anyway...your's is really coming along...have you hooked up any of the internals ?

Happy TankingImage
