A beautiful result! A tip if I may? The next time that you are face with installing those bars, drill a hole through the pipe top to bottom then glue in the bar already cut to fit. Following along!

:haha: :haha: I was going to mention the same thing...thought maybe Herman didn't have the size of drill to do it...filing some grooves would help too ;)

Simply no drill the right size. Pics of real ones show them to be slightly concave where they contact the pipes, so getting them spot on would be even more difficult with a hole i reckon.
All the hull mounting points for cables & tools that wont be fitted is a lot of piss-farting around for little tangible gain, but it shall be done !!

This morning Mrs B and the 5 month old were sitting here watching a xmas message from santa when the little treasure pulled a "Waylon" on my KT :O
Dodged a bullet , no breakage , will test functions later.

Herman,
Good luck on the no damage there! I'll let Waylon know that he is infamous. We went out and got him a pen that we set up and put his bed in. We were advised to do that when we got him earlier this year and blew off the concept. I'd still have a dining room set, a very costly leather couch and my Pershing if I had listened earlier. My idea for a shock collar was over ruled so a pen with a couple of doors it is.

Sorry Herman...I just have to laugh :haha: :haha: :haha: ...believe me it's with you not at you :D ...there are pros and cons when things like that happen....the con is the initial shock.... the pro...is the realization how your sense of humor has been passed to the next generation...and how an object though personally attached to...is nothing compared to something you will share a lifetime with :D

Give the babe a little pat on the tush...and tell the 5month old that one day all of the tanks will be a family heirloom ;)

Alpha,
The pen is for when he is inside with us, when we are not in the Office or we are gone during the day. He runs outside not through the house and is in any room that we are in just fine. He gets into trouble when he wanders off on his own. ( Apologies for the slight hijack, Herman )

Sweet as mate...........hes like me, I also get into trouble when I wander off by myself. :shifty:
Ironic that the post I was reading was "The Waylon Conspiricy" just before my own one happened :wtf:

I shall call it "The Arrabella Incident" ;)

The KT is just that much bigger, especially longer in the barrel that I can't set it back on my bench like the others or it wont rotate on the spinner I work on.
Little miss 2 year old liked to bat the White Tiger around at times, but this thing is like an anteater compared to that the way it sticks out over the spinner.

As I said, pretty lucky to dodge a severe bullet

Herman,
I hear you. I am glad that you dodged this one. At the least, I have a new smoker ordered and a line on a new air soft equipped turret so I can scrounge what's needed out of it and rebuild B-12's combo turret. Tomorrow I am going to redo and repair the detail on the turret upper. That piece can be reused once everything is remounted in it. Following along.

So indeed am I mate.

Added a few more welds to the glacis plate upper & lower that escaped the first round. Also did the reinforced ribs on the remaining front guards. Used off cuts from the kitchen drawer cutlery tray as raw material !
The stuff cuts with a pair of scissors & responds to low heat when shaping.
