You might check the final drive shaft for that gearbox. I had that happen to my Sherman. The grub screws weren't drilled right so the gear was just turning on the shaft. Erik got me some replacements.

My Pershing seems to have trouble sending power to the motors when there is a load. Like when I was trying to drive in the snow. It would lurch around. It drives ok inside. Gearboxes are loud AF, though.

I thought about putting stuff in the trailer, but it's an old stamped metal toy. I'd need to cut into it for anything like that, and I felt bad enough just drilling out the rivets that held the wheels on. Plus, I plan on making other trailers, so having the sound only in one of them wouldn't work either.

If you've got exta working speakers, I'd gladly see if I can work one in this thing. Otherwise, I will have to go down the rabbit hole of trying to order something online. I really wish Radio Shack was still around. Lol

Chase, I'll have to test some of these speakers and see what we have. I'll keep ya posted.

In the meantime, I got the tow cable.

Thanks Gary!

If you paint the whole cable, and it starts to come off, it should be a realistic weathered effect.

Cool video, Wayne. I loved it when the fan blew the toolbox lid back. It looks like he's got no reverse so it's not very practical, but it sure is cool! @) @)

Hmm, decided to change a little bit. All colours are temporary to try and get an idea what this thing will look like.

I plugged in a 2s lipo with 370 motor direct drive on the wpl axle and it slowly gained speed and then crashed into the wall haha.
But it has given me the info i could either go 12v 370 motor direct drive, but high torque motor, or i stick with 2s power and go for a geared 370 motor. I just need something that is closer to 2500rpm! ANyone know of a 9v motor for 2000rpm +?
