I'm actually pretty impressed with the C24. Makes me wish they'd do a Range Rover. I'll eventually make this one into some kind of off road recreational truck, maybe throw a canoe or kayak on the roof. The other thing that came to mind was a truck tricked out for tailgating at football games. They must do something similar in the UK, do they get together and party in the parking lot before the games? I would imagine the rugby crowd would be a lot of fun at a tailgate party.

Anyway, here's the box opening for the C24.

I've also got the opening for the B36 Ural but I can't open any of the plastic bags til I see if banggood is gonna give me any relief. I doubt it, and I'm probably screwed on this one. I'll probably end up ordering another RTR and just keeping the kit. I'll use it for something.

The C24 are great little off road crawlers. They also look.great. perfect budget RC for anyone to cut their teeth in a new hobby.

The B36, that is crap customer service! But we all know for a reason! I wouldn't give up, just keep being persistent and they may just refund you all or part to make sure you stop complaining them.

I still waiting my B36. Got a few custom plans for suspension and electrics.
Don't know what to do with my q60 & q61........

Your C 24, am I right in suspecting it has the same/similar track and wheelbase as the military trucks?

If so, what scale do you think it could be? Maybe 14th?

Mick.
When I measured against a Toyota Hilux it was roughly 1/14 scale

Hey Gary

Can you tell us where you ordered your dasmikro? I tried ordering one, but when it shipped the speaker it came with is far too large for these trucks.

Thanks!

Found this site when looking at RC trucks etc, it seems to have alot of fittings as what are used on these trucks. Maybe helpful for someone?

So the Rat Rod was crying out for some chassis strength. So over the weekend i was busy designing and making a strenghtening and suspension mounting system for it!

Front underneath

The rear section has also printed which will allow mounting of the 4 link bars and has a space for the prop to move within.
Also adds a nice bit of weight aswell :)

More printing on the Rat Rod!

It's getting heavy, but still got some rear suspension design to sort out!
Then front stub axles and bearings and new 3D printed front wheels.
Alot of paint and need to figure a motor and mount for it with driveshaft.

I think the easiest way would be to shorten the leaf spring mounting brackets.
