Excellent job, waiting to see your paint work.I'm sure this is a Masterclass Build.Just my opinion, for what it's worth. But I believe others will agree. Cheers Blake

This is my atempt at the crew . I plan on using my Stug crew for another project , so Ive used the Standard HL figures with officers caps removed . One altered into a soft cap the other removed and replaced with hair . Im no were near a figure painter tho.

Now it's begining to show how good it will look, the primer coat alone is starting to pop out the detail. As for the crew they look fine, just keep those pictures coming as I'm sure sax is right it's looking very much a masterclass contender. All the best for now
Alan

Hello Andy, first of you earned the compliment do to your skill, second for Christmas my wife purchase three very nice 120mm figures, one set is Wittmann and Bobby Woll from KIRIN complete with Tiger turret section, the second was a Verlinden 120mm Grossdeutschland commander which was costly, but perfect for my Tiger S13 which is a Grossdeutschland Tiger,I have stripped and considered my now third attempt to paint this figure, now after seeing yours I will send to you after you finish the Stug, seriously the hardest thing I am finding is the age of the face, just can't get that suple shadowing you see on the box art of my figure. The clothing is not to diffecult, shadowing the creases and wrinkles is far easier than trying to shadow the face and hands,I will keep at it,your figures look pretty good to me. Cheers Blake

Hi Alan thanks mate for the comments , Im having a bit of an issue with the gears at the mom . There the standard (at the mo) HL low set ones . the side the motor is lowered seems tight and the two drive shafts being the same length one seems to stick out more ? Im going to strip these down and have a look .

Hi Blake thanks for your comments . Im sure yours will turn out better . I havent shaded anything on mine yet the faces just turned out like they did . Im using standard Tamiya paints with the exception of white thats Hombrol as I couldnt get the Tamiya one at the time . I might re do the lightning runs yet . The hair was just an experiment . I just cut of the hat and used milliput . Im using the Stug crew , well the one with legs possibly in my Panther sitting half in the rear hatch on the turret ?

Thanks Andy

Those crewmen look really good Andy, and will look brilliant sitting in the hatches on your Stug! I can't wait to see it all painted up.

Cheers,
Rik
