Installed the periscope anti-glare mirrors in the cupola, and drivers position. Then gave it a good wragging around the garden.

I'm liking the multi-colour roadwheels--really has that mid-80s Communist austerity vibe goin' on! Welllllll, we could paint the primer, but...

Ohh I like that Ian. I'm developing a weird interest for these cold war Soviet buckets.

Mr T72 needed a new speaker, following a dunking and failing. Whilst at it I had got fed up with the switch coming adrift, as it was only held on with servo tape. A wee bracket was made and bolted on to the front chassis brace. Help came from one of the residents where I work. Despite dementia he can still use a file, small hammer and centre punch.

A couple of none alcoholic beers, a telling off from the matron for being noisy, and we were both giggling like 6year olds. Which HDP does approve of.

Some mighty fine finesse work. Giggling like a 6 year old with an rc tank? Not since yesterday!

My profound r-e-s-p-e-c-t to you for finding another way to make an unfortunate old man feel satisfaction. Ding Dong! You earn your wings before Christmas, even before Clarence.

We had snow to day, so managed to get some pictures. All was going well, until the known T72 hull fault, showed. The area around the front idler is known to split. Oh well more inventive repairs required.

Looks terrific in the snow, even if it requires some repairs now.

Yes it certainly suits the snow and looks great. I never run mine in the snow. I have enough issues with idlers and my tank tracks ice up enough within 30 seconds to the point of doing damage.
