Yes, the KV-2 is homely, but it shouldn't feel lonely at the dance.
Mike.

I'd say the KV-2 is the more attractive of the 2

Here's a bit of the origin of species evolution of my KV-2:

Many thanks to builders like Tankme, Artem RedArmy, Raminator, and Mr. Bix (also fuel tank supplier to the rich and famous), on the forum that kept my build going in the right direction with lots of accuracy and detail input, and other folks like Ecam, AdLav, Mr. Chef, Imcq11, et al that I've borrowed ideas and methods from shamelessly!
The well-worn KV-2 showing that size matters next to my PZIII.

Very nice. When I first got back into this I was scared to paint a tank but having to get a Tamiya to get up and running in our club battles quickly ( at that time the Clark boards were back ordered) I had to do a paint job. I thought the easy way out at first would be to do a winter camo but to do it right I realized was beyond my scope. They can look pretty awful if not done properly. I still have never tried one. When they are done masterfully like your KV-2 they look amazing

Excellent and it is great to get them out for pics in the snow. But hopefully last night's snow is the last one of the year. Knocked the work we had started on the field back another week

'REAL snow ??
Now thats downright "Climate-ist "
That KV you have so patiently produced is nothing short of astounding Mr Coleman.
Every detail and resulting outcome is profoundly obvious, well thought out and very well executed.
The Marigold is a really cool effect, and suits the mood.
All credit to you Sir, Bravo

I am impressed and hope someday to try another build with such a late-winter worn whitewash. What an accomplishment, CC.
The real snow diorama
might be the same snow we enjoyed (??) in Wisconsin on Thurs. 3/21/Fri. 3/22. My solution was to leave for a week on Marco, Island, Florida.
