The tops are out and a guy at RCU got one and says the driver's head is too high and looks obvious stickin' up as a great lump in the top. The answer? Shorter driver!! I have a couple I think will work, if I ever order or make a top. Here's one, so at least we know they exist, we just might have to hunt them up.

My jeep has arrived, and has been christened "Jane".

The radio set is now installed on rear left hand side along with my Dragon GI driver figure who fits in nice up front; the parts to make my own mount for the water cooled M1919 .30 cal are on the way from Ebay, plus two wooden weapon crates from Amazon 8|

Have run a few times and am more than happy with off road performance, more than I need for any Cornish rally field

The lights are plenty bright enough o- o- and the yellow tint looks very authentic.

It also tows (over uneven grass) my GI Joe 155 ml howitzer great, at a sensible speed, without pooping the tow hitch open.

To say I am impressed would be a gross understatement

Personally, I wont be changing a damn thing on Jane....

I'm still looking forward to photos of this one (hint, hint). 8)

The radio set sounds intriguing.

Still trying to figure out how to do it, when I try and post, keeps saying my files are to big ???

I have no clue how to make them smaller to go on here :{

I have added a load more storage in the back (wooden ammo crates, blanket, duffle bag full of Garand rifles & additional pack radio), plus have made my own MG mounting and have installed a water cooled M1919 .30 cal Browning, which looks very cool with the associated pipe work ;D

Next to go in will be the 6 .30 cal resin ammo cans from Dave at Armorpax; 2 in the back and the other 4 tied to the wooden shelf I have fixed on the front bumper.

Also have a passenger installed (collectors edition GI Joe, 442 Infantry, Japanese-American - Neisi? - apologies if spelling incorrect, but box now tucked away in attic), and this has really balanced out the weight. I am really happy with how Jane "sits" when in motion or static, and does seem to be very controllable (and economical RE: charge/run time) on a 2 cell lipo with some weight on board.

So, all in all, very happy with Jane

Don't PC's have programs that can resize pictures?
On my phone, I don't have such a program, therefore I open up the folder that contains the picture I want to post, take a screen shot of all the pictures offered up with the object picture in shot, then I crop the screen shot down for the individual picture. Although that doesn't always get the file size down to the required size, sometimes I have to repeat the sequence with the first cropped screen shot.

As for tap a talk, I'm not keen on how it displays the forum on phones, I prefer the way I already have it.

I use a free program called ImageBatch to resize my photos. Just copy all the photos into a separate folder. Set the parameters and run the program. Only takes a few seconds.

No, on my laptop. I store all my photos on my home network drives, so any phone photos I move to my laptop and do any processing there. I keep them all at maximum size and resolution, just shrinking any that I upload here.
