I followed your advice mostly. Only a bit of a dark reddish brown added so far. Then I put it together and had a run outside. Well to make it short, I had a blast with it. Well it is a tank anyway, right? ;D
Honestly, it is running fantastic and feels perfectly solid.
I hoped for some dirt to acumulate, what the soil was to hard packed from the rain. Maybe next time.

Here are some impressions in its natural environment:

Following the Adam Wilder KV 1 series it was now rust tones on all the chipping. I see the benefit of light chips filled with dark colour here. I really thinned the rust tones down while blending. Other than that. It adds some nice additional shades. Never did that before.

Thanks guys. Of course this wasnt the Final weathering. I just tried the speckle distressing. Mixed a greenish oil filter and added some pigments. Then applied it as sprinkles with a stiff bristled brush. Those dots were very light when dried. So Took another stiff brush and rubbed it down to better blend it with the surface. It is not very obvious at first and can mostly be seen under certain angles. This is a speckle filter ;)

Exhaust is excellent , that was a good find about painting exhausts . Will try that, better look for weathering products now.
