You lucky dog you! The longer I'm on this Forum the more British tanks are growing on me!
AT, that is some fabulous work!
Cheers,
Eric.

Thanks Eric.
The Matilda was one of my first 1/35th Tamiya kits 50/51 years ago, always been my favourite.

Hi,
interested in the Matilda files.. Question, Can you supply a list of the extra parts required? Screws, nuts, bolts, gearboxes etc etc for building the kit?

I'm pleased to announce that one of my clients for a set of Matilda files has successfully completed his model, and here is the video of it.
He has done a beautiful job of the build including rotating turret, elevating barrel, machine gun, and even recoil with smoke from the barrel - WOW what a beauty!
He used a heng long gearbox which appears to work very successfully.
Well done to Rad

Indeed, the video shows what great work your client has done, Alwyn. I find the camouflage colors unusual, but appealing. Is that a blue/gray over a sand or desert-like color? (I am a tad color blind.)

The camouflage paint pattern is known as the Caunter pattern and is indeed a mixture of blue, grey, and sand colours and was introduced in the North Africa campaign as a sort of "dazzle" camouflage to try and confuse enemy gunners, as the Matilda was a fairly slow tank and needed every advantage it could get.
