Reworked the sides and added ABER hexagonal bolts more appropriately positioned and squeezed those into the fenders to resemble those flat head bolts.

So I started over again with the paintjob after adding further details and some surface structure.
I wanted to have a real dark base coat, very thin, hopefully being able to "bubble" again tomorrow. So i Mixed Vallejo German Dark Black Brown with some hull red and 50% Thinner+Flow Improver. The coat was so thin it took me half an hour of airbrushing to get a coverage that I liked.
Next step will be Dark Yellow (RAL 7028) mixed with Ivory (RAL1001) to get that very late Dark Yellow tone. The Camo will be Redbrown RAL8012 and Resedagrün RAL6011. Then Iwill decide for the tonal Change by filters. Because I would intend to be in February, I might try some Grey-brown filter... We will see

Basecoat of dark yellow added. Again with 30-40% Thinner, very thin layers. Details not destroyed.
The dark redbrown basecoat of yesterday gives a fantastic subtle shading and isnt as stark as a black basecoat. Here is a side by side, once with Flash and without. Too much sun outside to take proper outside Pictures today

Are you going for active traverse on the Jagdpanther? If you do I'd really love to see lots of photos about how you do it. I understand Chris Ludwig has a traverse unit for the JP, but I've yet to see one installed in photos or in person.

It is not too complicated. The gun is suspended from a fixture in the Roof and there will be 2 Servos to allow the vertical and horizontal movement. I will take some Pictures during the process.
As of now, I had to start an Interim kit.

Great Thing about that kit. I can nearly do this with the exact Setup like the big Boy, despite the tool Placement. Well I could do that as well, but that would require some modification.

I found this very interesting pattern. What do you think, better sharp edges or sprayed?
