Very impressed with how it ran and sounded (bloody loud!)

Quite tempted by one myself, but I would never do it as much justice as you have.

Was a good day today, always feel inadequate putting my tanks next to yours!

Good idea - we'll arrange a weathering session where I supply the tea and watch :D

I think I get worried I might ruin it over do it. Less is more and all that.

Look forward to seeing you add the recoil to this in time.

Thats an LED muzzle flash run from the IBU2 Spongehoobtank82. I am still looking for a rubber later which I am happy with before sorting out the recoil. I'm thinking I might use the Clark servo recoil rig for H/L tanks in this one.

Paul
The Clark servo rig looks quite large and the servo on the side of the cut down bb unit I think is an elegant solution, but to be fair there is loads of room for any set up in the turret, I may add the muzzle flash at some point, got my flashy light to install yet and ir :-) doing anything else to yours?

I normally go with turn it up so can't hear the gearboxes working, then a little bit. :haha:

Although with the Abrams that is migraine inducing with the turbine engine pitch

When the glue has dried I will resemble the tank and tank some pics of the finished article. Keep watching though as I will be posting the details of painting the commander figure I have.

I have heard that over time, people come to resemble their pets, but this is the first time I've heard f someone resembling a tank! :haha:

Sorry - could not resist. I guess your predictive spelling has a mind of its own.
