yup.

the MT-1 was the 1939 model KV-2, it was clunky and very heavy and angled on the front and rear. the box that we know today is the MT-2 m1940

i hate having bugs in my model, i need to rebuild the 3d model and try to see if my printing has no hiccups or strange shapes

It's a cold and blowing snow kind of day here in Colorado. I'm thinking about Summer days and evenings spent putting together another KV-2 with the 'Big Barn' turret that you are working on. It will be a pleasure having an early version of this iconic Soviet tank. So, no rush, sir. Perfection is worth waiting for. ;o)

i got so frustrated of filament snapping in the loading feed to the heating unit of my printer that makes it print just air.

so i scrounged about and found some leftover Chipboard from my old house modelling materials crate and leftover broken PVC pipe from my air conditioner unit and made this




here's to hoping the filament wont break mid print

Very Interesting and clever of you Gigs...it's the first time anyone has shown their printer full frame...thought they were much bigger...and didn't know they were that fragile

printer is all fine, just the filament quality that needs attention

Really???????????? What's wrong with what you've been using...you seem to be getting some really nice results

the previous position of the filament with this spool was bending at a sharp angle so it tends to break, so i made this new setup position above as a direct feed and not through a feeder tube.
each spool/batch's quality and durability differs from one another. so far so good with the new setup

all i have to do is to lube up the spool's opening and the holding bar with multi purpose oil to make it slide more smoothly so the motor in the heating unit will not stress or the filament breaking hehehehe
