Not good when these things happen, but they cant be helped,
you should have lots to do so any updates on the rebuild let us all know and share the pic's

it will give us something to do whilst waiting for parts or are wondering what to do next.

Hi thejunkman,
I am sorry about the damage to your Tiger :O .......Do you have access to a hot air gun or even a hair-dryer ??.......If it was me and since you literally 'Have nothing to lose'.......
How about trying to straighten the damaged parts ???......The Hull deck looks like it might be relatively straight forward to fix.....

Turret off and all the top deck accessories.
Invert the hull deck and place it onto a flat strong surface that can take heat like a piece of wood.
Get a second flat edge like another piece of wood.....Or possibly a 'Cold' clothes iron, because it is flat, heavy ANY you can push down on it easily.
Heat the deck on the first piece of wood with the gun or dryer until it starts to 'sag' under its own weight, and then apply the ' wood / Iron' to flatten it out...Do not go crazy trying to apply a ton of pressure just enough to flatten it out.
Hold the straight bit in place for say a minute that should give the plastic time to cool...then remove the straight bit and see what it looks like....
You can always repeat the process and see how flat you can get it. It MIGHT need to be bent SLIGHTLY in the other direction so that when you release the pressure it bends slightly back but now it will bend back straight rather than slightly 'bowed'......Then repeat on the hull damaged side.....
OR
If you got the 'Support wood' in a right angle to hold the deck AND the side at the same time .......and you cut a couple of slots in you 'Applying Pressure' piece of wood to allow for the small internal struts that support the sides of the deck, you might be able to do the whole top in one go.

If you could save the top deck it would be a bonus......AND the Asiatam hulls were now only £50 the last time that I looked....and THAT is the single BEST upgrade that there is available. :D :D

Just because I like a challenge...and because I live on a pension, I would also probably have a go at the Hull AS WELL using the same method but with angle iron clamped in a vice and then heat and press on the parts with more angle iron.......You can always sand out any lumps or bulges, or fill any dents..it just depends on 'Money' , 'Get Up and Go' and ' Time'.....I lack the first TWO but have plenty of the Third... :( ..... :haha:
