Double check that both wires are still connected to the little micro switch on the recoil. I found they like to come off dead easy so maybe that has happened.

When you say " I lost the sound and recoil" ; do you mean the gun recoil or the tracks recoil ...?

I ordered one of those units yesterday from Welsh Dragon and should have it next week ...

When I look at the instructions how to cancel the track recoil ( on Welsh Dragon site); I suspect that you also loose the sound of the main gun as well ; since the sound of the main gun and the track recoil are tied together on the RX-14 and RX-18...

well i got the plug from the turret plugged in the right place on the borad . yes i mean track recoil and main gun sound they both do not work. i am sure both should work.i have checked the plugs and they are all in as they should be.it maybe just be a bad borad but not sure ? an till someone like your self gets one and sees if they have the same trouble as me. as i was one of the first person to order one.but saying all this its still worth it in getting one as i think its made my tank really good now.you have to let me know if you have same issues as me.

If this new board is almost a copy of the RX-18 ; you could try that to check if the sound and track recoil work ...

hi thanks for the info. have tried this contacting the pin. and yes it set the recoil of and sound. so the board is ok. but all the plugs are in on turret. and it worked ok on the old board.not sure what wrong now ? is it the hand set ? or the workings on the turret ? .

right set up the rx-18 board. the gun sound and track recoil works. so i am putting this down to the handset .just waiting on some more people getting there hands on one of the new dital units to see if they are having the same troubles as me with the handset .or it maybe just me ?

Have you asked Steve at Welsh Dragon to see if he can try one of his stock to confirm. Might be quicker than waiting for others to buy plus if there is a problem with the product at least Steve knows.

yes had a chat with him today. his changing the handset for me.i hope thats the problem. as i give the tank and bits a good look over.even set up the old rx18 borad and it all worked ok.so putting it down to the handset.

Fingers crossed you be up and running in no time at all.
