Hey thanks guys for all the great praise, really appreciate it.

In ref to Saxondogs question
Hi Red Devil, any idea on the cable clamps and rod guides? I have made steal cables and the cleaning rods using brass tubing and round balsa, and am considering a square block of Plasticard drilled for the cables and rods but not splitting the block just making it into a single assembly and attaching to the hull.
Not sure yet buddy, I'm throwing the Aber Basic Tiger 1 (ref Ausf's question) set around for the fixtures but I'm in the scratch build mood now. My issues here is the lack of properly stocked hobby stores, the dude I deal with, orders the goods for me but a month or two turn around can be discouraging. There is the net but I like to support the little guys in order to (IOT) keep hobby stores open. With the styrene, what were looking at for sizes for the cable/cleaning rod racks? I'm thinking of 1mm thickness and about 2.5mm in height. My plan would be to obtain the correct length, drill out the proper diameter sized hole and the half the section of styrene IOT fab the hinge and upper strap.

With your custom job on the cleaning rods, you stated that you used balsa. Did you find the balsa hairy or expand when you applied a finish to it? What diameter did you use? I'm sure if we put our heads together we can come up with something realistic.

Thanks again boys and talk to y'all soon.

Awesome attention to detail, it looks great so far. Makes me feel like I have sausage fingers though, and for that I have to hate you! ;)

Thanks Shane and Stu, really appreciate the comments. Stu i'm feeling your pain with the summer time break, although I'm on a wait out due to parts and at work in the Infantry School we are in full swing with the summer serials. Alot of time spent out in the field with all best friends, the "MOSQUITO's". What was mother nature thinking. They're like hummingbird size on this side of Canada. Oh well, life as a Grunt. Will post more when the parts from E-bay, Japan and Welsh Dragon get here. Thanks again all...

Sounds like a good time buddy, I'll grab the G-wagon and pick you up. I'll be running a LAV gunnery crse at that time but i'll cut away for some LEO 2 fun. We'll have to co-ord some more later and thanks for the comment.

So I have been working steadily on the rear hull. The mods in Grey are from Tamiya (slight mods req'd), light grey is Schumo Resin, PE Grills Taigan, metal latches from E-Bay and the white styrene is from me 8) .

Next mods to do will be the Befehlswagen (Command Tank) upgrades and the lower hull from Asiatam. All comments are welcome and I hope you enjoy. Thanks.
