Awesome paint job!  Looks even better in the daylight.  Only one thing on the paint job...the spare MG barrel (just above the sledge hammer) should be black...gun bluing.  That's a spare barrel for the .50-cal.  But, since you've already painted it silver, you won't need much black to get a worn look where some of the bluing is wearing off and the silver starting to come through!

Overall, I really like my Bulldog.  I've knocked a few bits off  :'( but it tackles anything and runs great.

I am going to leave the slits as they are for the moment, for no other reason than I have a Darkith unit on the way, and I want to see if I can mount them in some of the slits. I will also need to mount the IR emitter somewhere, and that may be just in front of the turret.

I am already looking at putting in a pair of Graupner 400 motors, I have a pair in my Tiger that may get replaced with 480's.

As for the spare barrel....ok, I will paint that!  ::)

Hi Rob,
Remember this post on the forum that shall not be named ;D ;D
A bit bored tonight and thought what is the big difference between a tamiya bulldog 1/35 and the Heng long version 1/16
Used this in my calculations http://www.printmini.com/calc.shtml
here are some of the findings (not to sure where this is going but someone might find it useful  )

Track (width)

tamiya / HengLong / Converted / Difference +/- in mm
14.9 / 41 / 32.6 / +8.4

Roadwheels (Height)
18.04 / 41.8 / 39.5 / +2.3

Fenders (width of one side)
16.9 / 47.1 / 36.9 / +10.2

Frontplate (between fenders)
57 / 121.8 / 124.7 / -2.9

Turret width (widest part)
64.5 / 134.15 / 141 / -6.85

Exhaust covers
32.4x16.2 / 66x47 / 71x35 / -5x+12

don't really now if this is any use to anyone just wanted to show the differences if any and how large or small
and from the outcome there really isn't that much in it (except the fenders LOL)
all measurements are open and this is just for my own amusement

Rob (bored to tears)
Cheers Ian
