Great news about the trees, like I said happy to chip in for them.
I'm also getting the guard hut and barrier from Mats, hopefully be with me in time for next meet.

Re: ZTZ99a
Hi guys,
Had a bit of a set back with the LED flash, for some reason having it connected stops the ATRC from functioning. The HL High Voltage flash appears to work but as that gives little light out of the end of the barrel I need a bit of rethink.
Also been giving the new motors a good running to see how it is working and see if any problems. Only issues I've found so far is the motors get a bit hot, not certian if because high revs or load so maybe some cooling to them might help. Second issue is the run time getting about 18 minutes from a 2000mAh Ni-Cd battery so about half the running time than before.
Overall still impressed with the increased performance.

Re: ZTZ99a
Forgot to mention I measured it's speed.
I roughly measured it covering 5m in 5 seconds (on flat patio slabs) so that works out at 2.2369mph. So that be 35.7mph full size.
Compared to the real thing.
On road 80kmh/50mph
off road 60kmh/37.5mph

Those tracks look very similar to Abrams tracks and should be a lot cheaper than Tamiya Leopard tracks.
I'm thinking HE Abrams upgrade possibilities?

Re: ZTZ99a
Done some more work this evening.
Decided the airsoft was using up too much space inside the tank, and replacing it with a recoil was portless as the barrel is static. Axe saw time, basically cut the bottom off the airsoft and kept top half so elevation still worked.
And here's showing elevation at highest so no more intrusion into the tank body.
And while I was at it added a amber LED powered off the airsoft supply.
I still need to add a link in the controller between the left thumb stick up and the K button so I get the IR firing and sound.
