Hi Dredd
Welcome to the forum. I am in the same boat as you. I am looking for the same kind of thing. I see so many that I like, and not knowing what is good or not, or what can be converted or not, can be nightmare to remember.

In this case, first model must be simply and not complicated. DREDD you want alone completed ? On the begining will be good this Konig Tiger from link, but will have change painting.

Ni Dredd,

Welcome to the forum. As second childhood said you can go mad looking at all the different available tanks and peoples opinions etc, etc

I bought my first tank (BB Tiger) from here http://www.rc-hobbies.co.uk/index.php?c ... jdk629hu06
Nice quick service and no complaints.

At the time I just bought it with out knowing any thing about the hobby, just wanted to play with somehting in the garden. I soon got hooked on these tanks and moddyfing them etc. So since then all my tanks I've bought from ebay as used/exdemo/damaged as intended to upgrade or repair anyway.

I like the KV1 think it is a great tank but be careful to make sure you get a smoke and sound version as there is a few older version still been sold. Also my last purchase was a M26 Pershing (Snow Leopard) this was the basic plastic tracks and gears version but was very surprised at how good it is in standard form especially next to my upgraded tanks.

Ian.
