Hi Gary,

Thank you for the offer, but I don't know if I will be able to attend any of the meetings. I have to look after my wife (we are both disabled) and she isn't into tanks. She said she'll move to Turkey if I start building one. :haha:

I am not sure where Hyde is. I rarely drive out of town. I am originally from the south, I do not go out much (mainly supermarkets), so I do not know many people up here. So I will either be playing with myself (so to speak) or teasing the cats with it.

But before all that, I need a tank. :( oh, and money. :problem:

Take care
Paul

Ah, Manchester. That's too far me, but by all means come over here at some point. The wife doesn't mind, but it will be weeks away yet. First, I have to purchase a tank, and then have to wait for the grass to grow. We had it seeded last week.

Hi Gary,
TFI big enough for use. As i've never been to one of these, I didn't know how much space is needed.

What you can't see in the photo is the patio at the front, which gives a bit more space. The shed at the far end is over 15ft long, to try and give some perspective on it. I've never measured it, but it must be over 100ft in length.

Maybe I should get a 1/4 size and convert it to a mobility scooter for when the time comes for me to be in one.

BTW, there is a google map thingy somewhere on this site (where members can add their location.) I found it the other day, but I cannot find it for toffee now. Any ideas where it is ? Thanks

Take care
Paul

Thanks, Ian. I was looking for that for hours. I couldn't remember which thread it was in, and couldn't find anything whilst searching.

Take care

Just thought i'd introduce myself. I'm 46 with a body of a 96 and a mind of a 6 year old. The wife say's i'm cross berween Basil Fawlty, Victor Meldrew, Adrian Monk, with a big splash of Homer Simpson thrown in for good measure.

I've a lot of questions to ask, so when my fingers are up to it, I will write more. I am so pleased to have found this place. No doubt the experts here will point me in the right direction.
