I've been using this to make my tank smoke unit and it's been a god send.
Everything is well made, even the drills are sharp

The only criticism is that the cutting discs are very thin and brittle, so you gotta watch out they don't shatter when your using them.
Other then that...Best 17.00 quid I've ever spent. Get one!!! you won't be sorry

The mini drills look well made, have variable speed and come in a sturdy carry box and inside is a separate box for the bits, grinding wheel etc.

I was a dental technician for 25 years and we used mini drills like this costing 10 times more. If the bearings in the headstock are accurate and sturdy than this is a bargain. We used the very thin cut off discs to remove sprues from the casting and they are very delicate. Do not put pressure on the disc, just let it do the cutting at high speed or it will shatter.
When cutting plastic do not have the speed too fast or heat is generated, the plastic melts and fouls up the drill. Hope this helps.

Bought one yesterday, really pleased with it. If I had had one of these when I was an apprentice it would have made work much easier. I used to have to strip apart my flexible drive drill every friday afternoon, clean and lube the ball bearings and remove any snags on the flexy drive.
