Hi Tankbuilder.. Even if you do get your gearbox drop downs fitted. Having mixing in your hand set can be a fun way to drive your tank. Don't just wack the end points down, as this will leave you at that setting 100% of the time. Put some channel mixing in.(e.g) Link them to the 3 way switch. then you can have a crawl speed start. Flick the switch up one. 1/2 speed etc. Then the switch on off position full power for the truns. You can even link more than one switch togeather for even more scale fun.

An idea would be to stick a pair of variable slide resistors in between the motors and the esc's, then tweak them till you get the right speed.

Great stuff !! Ill wait for you review on them ! I'm thinking of getting some for my King Tiger!!! . I've been looking into speed risistors and other ways but I can't see them lasting as long as the reduction gears!

Recieved my reduction gears today from ETO and fitted them to my Panther. Great improvement to the way it drives, much more scale like and smoother without the formula 1 starts. Well worth the money spent if you are looking for more scale performance.
I will be getting a set for my King Tiger.
