I do like Panthers and yours is a gooden...Has any thought of doing this?

Out in a nice wet field pounding mud with a few others models, then get a few knocks and scrapes. There is nothing like the real thing for weathering and battle damage. :thumbup:

your right, nothin like the real thing to give it that real look ive just put homemade schurzen on so ill post more pics tomorro :'(

Yes very nice, that’s how I prefer to see a Panther Ausf “G” with schurzen fitted it makes the model look just as it should do. :thumbup:

Problem! :(
Running over dry ground is ok; if the ground is very stony they tend to jam between the tracks and schurzen.
Same with heavy mud it builds up and causes problems.
That is why the pics of mine taken at Lambourne I had removed them, you will see another Panther on the bridge also schurzen off it was very rough ground there.
At other shows or on static display I put them back on again.
Sometimes I just hook them on for effect between running slots.
Over decent ground they are bolted on.

they do look the part with schurzen on , we used to have that problem in germany mud an shit cloggin everythin up usually end up throwin a track in the mud, happy days

Unfortunately after I posted last I’ve had a couple of weeks in hospital, but back now.
This is my 122 taken about 6 years ago with schurzen fitted.
