Hmm , I have the Asiatam hull , it comes with torsion bar suspension a la Tamiya + track tensioners . The Mato one is basically the HL - but made of cast alloy . They don't have much in common with each other . Trying to cross pollinate parts can mean reworking them to fit .
Mato - same as HL , but in metal . ( An all metal Tiger 1 is in the pipeline

)
Asiatam - SIMILAR upgrades to Mato , but often has better detail i.e. working hinges etc. - possible fit issues .
You can see in the vendors section what's available , by all means ask questions - then decide .

ok so if i was willing to put in the time, i could make the tensioners fit the mato hull ? and what wheels can i fit the the mato hull i want metal wheels but not sure what ones and i want the metal idlers ! i think metal idlers with tensioners on a solid metal hull will stop the twisting and will stop the tracks from being allowed to run off

yeha i was looking at that and at the price its superb, just id rather have the full metal for shere weight and rigidity, if i get creative it will end out with torsion bars etc in time, i hope its not too hard to make the tensioners fit the mato hull !

Stevie - The Asiatam tensioner can fit the Mato hull , as it's identical dimensionly to the HL one - just a case of drilling and cutting metal instead of plastic , the main advantadge of the Mato metal hull is that it is rigid and more waterproof .

yeah i thought this might be the case, the metal shouldnt be too hard to drill/grind/cut should it ?
i have sorted the problem with the idlers for now a very easy simple fix, this video is me arsing around with ti to see if they would slip again
