Took a little time out from the wheels to paint & weather some of the tracks:

Kit supplied spare track link on right & painted & weathered link on the left.
Tomorrow I'll be finishing off the main tracks and the rest of the spare links.
Thanks Antony

Great work on the wheels. What an improvement. Have you found the dremel workstation to be steady and secure. I got a larger stand but it was useless.

Hi John,
I find the workstation a massive improvement on freehand drilling. It works fine for me. One of the best things I've bought. As well as drilling it's great for cutting & filing too. Too stop the drill bit from drifting too much, I drill a small pilot hole first then move on to the bigger bit for the final hole. This works much better than trying to drill the correct size hole first.
Thanks Antony

Hi Cliff,
Look forward to seeing the work you've done on your KT.
I had one of those but found after a number of years that the weight of the batteries etc made the road wheels buckle. To stop this either the GRP has to be re-enforced where the springs are or alternatively while not being used take the weight off the wheels by propping up the underneath. Just don't want you to have the same problem as it spoils the look.
Thanks Antony
